Bourgeois D-150 Hide Glue -Used (2011)- This near mint condition top of the line dreadnought by Dana Bourgeois and co. is a bluegrass cannon. Amazing tones from the warm, rich lows, to clear and present highs. Features Premium dark Brazilian Rosewood quarter sawn back and sides, Dana's unique, single-scalloped X brace system, and premium Adirondack spruce top. The D-150 delivers a blend of balance and clarity absolutely required for bluegrass (and highly desirable for most other styles of playing!) --but rarely found in a contemporary dreadnought. Made with hot hide glue (of coarse), this guitar is elegantly appointed with an abalone rosette, triple layer ivoroid body/ fretboard and headstock binding, side purfling, Fossilized Ivory slotted squares and diamonds inlay, Gold Waverly tuners, Ebony fretboard and bridge, Fossilized Ivory pins, bone nut and saddle, and 1 23/32” nut. Taylor Style 2 Sitka/ Rosewood Cutaway -Used (2010) #026- This auditorium style 14 fret short scale with Florentine cutaway is supremely responsive to any technique, from the most refined and delicate fingerstyle to robust flatpicking styles. ‘Used’ is not the word. ‘Never been played’ seems to be more like it! This guitar is mint. The Style 2 features carefully thinned back, sides and top and light scalloped bracing. It takes very little energy to make the entire guitar body come alive.
