Thanks for ordering an absolutely fabulous mandola ! The Collings MT2 Mandola exceeded every expectation. The scale length is perfect for me and the sound is incredible. I was concerned about the heavier strings that are standard, but alas, with the great set up, it is easier to fret than my mandolin ! I can play up the fret board on the A string to hit many of the nigh notes on a mandolin. The larger sound box has a real richness in tone and sustain. I have no problem with hammer ons and pull offs, even with the heavier strings. My hands are not large. This mandola works for me ! It looks great, sounds great ! Steve, Just wanted to let you know that I received the 000-M (Matin) last Thursday and I love it. It really is "brand new" for an 11 year old guitar. I put the new strings on and it really sings. I took of the pickguard plastic too.....Thanks for your courteous help and quick shipment (packed really well also). I'll definitely keep you in mind for future needs and will let my friends know as well.

This is indeed the best guitar shop in the Region! I travel from Indiana to DHG because along with the high quality instruments (accessories, videos, etc.) the service is incredible. There are dozens of shops, between Indiana and Frankfort, and I only do business with DHG. If you are into acoustic music, you will find this place is inspiring!

I got the guitar today and I just wanted to say thank you for your help in making this possible. I probably would have settled for much less of an instrument had I not found your shop. I appreciate your patience as I played just about every guitar in your shop! I am extremely pleased with the McPherson - it sounds and looks just as good as I remembered.
