Huss & Dalton TD-M Sinker Mahogany/ Adirondack- H&D’s traditional flat top dreadnought custom with Adirondack Spruce top and river salvaged Belizean Sinker Mahogany back and sides. If you like wood with a story, it doesn’t get any better. The Mahogany used on this guitar is old growth wood that was originally cut in the 19th century when Belize was a British colony. The rivers of Belize was the main source of transporting these giant logs. Occasionally the denser logs would sink and have forgotten for over 100 years. Because of the high organic content of the river bottoms, these logs did not rot. They aged in the mineral rich waters that give the wood an amazing color. This guitar is custom ordered with no stain for that reason. Other features include Ebony Fretboard/ bridge and pins, Nickel Waverly Tuners, tortoise binding and pickguard, Brazilian headstock overlay, bone nut and long saddle, 1 23/32” nut, 2 7/32” saddle spacing, and 25.4” scale.
