Weekly Bluegrass Jams

PRIVATE LESSONS

New Classes!

Learn to take solo breaks, flatpick tunes, and Jam Bluegrass in a comfortable group setting

-Starts Tuesday January 5th 2010-

Tuesday 6-6:50pm Level 1 Tuesday 7-7:50pm Level 2

10 weeks- $150

All classes are 50 minutes each week for 10 consecutive weeks. Tuition is $150($15 a week) due in full prior to the first class. Tuition is is non-refundable and missed classes cannot be made up or credited. Paid tuition secures your spot in the class. There is a maximum of 10-12 students per class. All students must have their own acoustic guitar. Payment can be made in store or by credit card over the phone.

KIDS/YOUTH GROUP GUITAR

-Starts Saturday, January 9th 2010-

10 Weeks- $150

Sat. 9-9:50am- Beginning Kids 1 Ages 7-9*   “Introduction to the Guitar” - Learn the basics of reading music, strumming chords, and songs in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Teacher: Doug Summers

Sat. 10-10:50am Beginning Kids 2 Ages 7-10** “Learning the Guitar” -Completion of Beginning Kids1 or permission of instructor required. Continue learning to read music and get to know the notes on all 6 strings in the open position. Expand on chords, rhythm, songs and basic scales. Teacher:Doug Summers

Sat. 11-11:50am- Beginning Youth Ages 10+ “Introduction to the Guitar” -Learn basic chords, popular songs and rudiments of reading musical notation in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Teacher: Doug Summers

Sat. 12-12:50pm- Continuing Youth 2 Ages 10+ “Exploring the Guitar” -Expand your guitar knowledge. Learn more songs, notation, scales and jamming. Teacher: Doug Summers

* 6 year olds with desire to learn will not be turned away.

PRIVATE LESSONS

We are currently offering private lessons for guitar, banjo, mandolin, violin & voice. Please contact us for available lesson days and times.

Lessons are $22 a week* for a 1/2 private lesson. Tuition is paid for 5 weeks at a time for a total of $110. Lessons must be paid in advance. We do not offer make up lessons.

*Violin lessons with Katie Bern cost $24 per 1/2 hour.
