Did you ever pass up a break at a jam because you weren't sure what to play? Did you shy away from a fiddle tune because you thought you couldn't 'nail it'? You can strum chords, know some licks but have trouble putting it all together? Then this class is for you! Learn fiddle tunes, how to build solos based on chord progressions, tying licks together, and pickin' by ear in a comfortable group setting taught by pro blugrass guitar player Eric Lambert. Eric will show you a simple and easy to understand method to help you to take breaks to your favorite songs & join in our free weekly bluegrass jams!

Eric has been performing and teaching for over 30 years. He has performed and taught in 7 countries and spent 2008 touring internationally with Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike and currently tours with The Henhouse Prowlers.

			FLATPICKING THE GREATFUL DEAD- TUESDAYS 8-8:50PM

					$175 for 10 Weeks

Are you a fan of Jerry Garcia and his catalog of music? Well grab yer acoustic guitar and join veteran bluegrass picker Eric Lambert and learn to flatpick the music of an influential band who were deeply influenced by old time, country and bluegrass music, The Grateful Dead. In this 10 week course Eric will teach you how to play favorites like Ripple, Friend of the Devil and more using bluegrass guitar techniques.

	All classes are 50 minutes each week for 10 consecutive weeks. Tuition is $175($17.50 a week) due in full prior to the first class. Tuition is is non-refundable and missed classes cannot be made up or credited. Paid tuition secures your spot in the class. There is a maximum of 10-12 students per class. All students must have their own acoustic guitar. Payment can be made in store or by credit card over the phone.
